I just got a soft top from kayline for my 4-runner. Installation of the top wasn't all that hard, there are just lots and lots of hole you have to drill which will take awhile. I think it took me about 2 or 3 hours maybe, and since all the holes are drilled to fit your own truck as long as you get all the measurements right you wont have a problem with it fitting perfectly. Of course the day after i got my top off and the top on it rained like it had never rained before and the top did not leak very much at all, very little water came in. The top works very well and is definately worth putting on your truck for the summer time. The only problem ive had so far is that recently the buttons have started breaking off the actually top when unsnapping them, so you just have to be careful when unsnapping. | ![]() |

Above is the top fully off, all you have to do is unsnap the buttons
and fold it back similar to any other convirtable top, takin it off only
take about 1 min its very simple and east to do.
To the left is the top half way on, kind of like a bikini top, you just roll the sides and back up, snap the straps around it and you have a totally open truck on the sides but the top part is still on. |
Then to the right is the top all the way on and all snapped up. This can take a while to do because it can get hard to get all the buttons to stretch out to where they are supposed to be. but after the top gets broken in some itll become a lot easier. |
